Completion of the course provides you with a certificate in First Response Fire Training that meets
the requirements of the Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008. As per the legislation, refresher

Yes, simply purchase the number of licences required. Instead of inviting team members individually,
you can upload a csv file that contains each person’s name and email address. The system will
automatically send invitations to each person on the list. You can keep track of who’s done the
course on your administration dashboard.

FRFTO’s online courses save you time and money by minimising the amount of time your people will
be away from their regular tasks. However, if you prefer a face-to-face course please contact us.
Once allocated to a team member, the licence must be used within 12 months or it will expire.
The First Response Fire Training Online course covers:
the fire tetrahedron
how a fire starts
how a fire spreads
the dangers of fire
what to do if there’s a fire
classes of fire
how to use a fire extinguisher and fire blanket
The course has been broken into three modules. The course is self paced, but you should allow one
hour to complete the three modules. If you’re short of time you do not have to complete the three
modules in one sitting. Each module takes around 20 minutes. At the end of each module you can
save your progress and come back later to complete the course.
FRFTO is not an RTO. Training is not nationally accredited but complies with the Building Fire Safety
Regulation 2008 requirements.
